  • What is best detector / Which circuit you made was better ?

    Hi Guys,
What is best detector for detecting iron ball in more than 1meter deep
i saw many post in forum finally i didn't understood what is best really
what about Miner 4 anybody built it, any result ?

i made HH1 but i need more powerful device

    Any circuit ?

What is diameter of your iron ball?

I think Mikebg would be the right person to address this question. He is mostly into finding meteorites i.e. small iron. Whatever works for him must be good.

Best result on iron targets, i achieved so far, was not with detector but with magnetometer.
Rusty iron piece 12cm x 5cm i discovered at 60cm depth, with very strong signal.
Considering target size, i am sure it is the very best result for me so far.
If you want just to search for irons; than there is nothing better than magnetometer for such task.

Agree, what is his detecting shape (circle) at 1m of depth? Strong pinpoint or detecting circle of say about 25cm?

15cm / 6inch Iron Diameter and if important the area fills by water.

I guess HH1 with proper coil (of about 70-80cm) can manage 15cm iron ball at 1m depth and more, even in water area.

                    Hi Sigman
DELTA PULSE 2 can detect iron ball(d=15cm ) in more than 1meter deep.
                    best time

Thanks WM6 I'll go to make it, how many turns and which AWG ?

For coil diameter of about 75cm you need of about 15 turns >AWG#22. It is not so critical, you can experiment with a couple more turns and AWG to #18 (speaker cable can do well). You need to tune your new coil to detector with damping resistor for better results (despite ferro targets are not so conclusive regarding this).

                          Hi Jap

Delta Pulse is good detector i interest to make it but there is a lot of post about it and i donno what of them are good for me, do you know any link(s) or documents (such as PCB, Components, Coil, Troubleshot, ect.) ?

                          - Regards
