  • Help with Surf PI kit

    Hi,
I don't know "so much" about electronics, only able to figure out schematics, parts, good soldering skills, mild troubleshooting and a good general knowledge with a multimeter, etc..
I think about getting the Surf PI complete kit and assemble it myself instead of buying an expensive detector which already isn't available where i live!!. The thing is i'm worried if this type of project needs some skills beyond my knowledge like tuning with oscilloscopes or any other special equipment i could not work with. But anything does not need special gadgets i can learn how to do it before or along the build.
Please i need your professional advise. Thanks'

    Mike

I hope so, i was concerned when i saw some people fine-tuning outputs with oscilloscope, and that's something i can't do(professionally at least),,
I'm from Egypt, i'm going to use it for meteorites only, mostly at Sahara desert.

Mate if you can do all that, and if you have no faulty components, you are almost there, good luck
