I have a couple of mods, which add around 2 inches depth to the SSP, they cost pennies to add and I'll hapily do them FREE OF CHARGE. I'm no longer repairing detectors for profit, I do it for fun (I can afford to as I make my money in a far more lucrative market now).

"Contaminated" board is a "standard" Tesoro fault (or so it would seem). That is NOT to detract from Dave's excellent capability, but I have repaired many machines he couldn't and vice versa no doubt, indeed (IMHO) there is no better repair service (paid for) ANYWHERE in europe than Pentechnic!!

Be VERY careful of what you clean the board with, you could end up making it worse. BEFORE you do that though, have you tried a difrerent search head?

Hi Sean, what you mean with this "contaminated" board - what sort of fault?
