I have a GM2 it was having a problem with loose connection somewhere. I seem to have fixed the problem but now there is a whine when I use the headphones. Not the standard threshold but something else. There is no whine when using the speaker. I am wondering what would cause the whine, and how I can track down the problem? Also the on/off sensitivity is doing something strange. When I turn up the sens. the detector squeals and then quiets down to threshold again. Does not squeal when turning down. Do I need to replace the pot or is it most likely another problem? The detector still works but I think the whine is covering up the weakest signals. Thanks.
