I built SurfMaster pi buying the kit from silverdog, metal works well at the beach, but does not work in the ground, I felt very different types of soil but the problems still exist, the last time the metal detector sounded just the coil touched the ground and even when she touched the metal sometimes sounded and was unstable

for now use a concentric coil built with standard electric wire, the benefits are very good in the air 1 euro at 30 cm
