Recently I built few simple projects, IB and BFO, to get along with MD mechanism, and learn more about "electronics" which is my priority.
Now i need to step up and build a good PI device for meteorite hunting, I need it to be very sensitive to iron and has a good depth, as I will hunt in sandy areas in the desert. I'm not asking for something fancy like PIM-2 or DP2, (for now, as i'm still learning about microcontroller programming or advanced scope tuning). I'm thinking about the normal "Delta Pulse" or "Barracuda legend" or "Tiny"(from pulsdetektor).
Well, I'm wondering what will be my best choice, I mean what's the best documented project between those three, knowing that i don't have a scope and i don't want to purchase a "kit", because i find pleasure etching my own PCBs, scavenging parts and build the project from scratch.
