  • Suitable speaker?

    Hello,

    Really simple question here.

I have finally been able to pulse my coil, using arduino and a mosfet and am now working on figuring out how to deal with flyback and the recieved signal.

In the meantime, i am gathering parts and the only thing i cant get is a speaker to generate the rising and falling tone.

I bought a buzzer, and that beeps at a mono tone regardless of the current used.

I then bought a loudspeaker and that thing just hisses and crackles.

Could someone give me a link to a speaker or 2 that is suitable for use in these detectors?

    Thanks

    Hi,

just find a small USB powered speaker for the computer or laptop sound output.

You can get them even for 5 bucks and they (may) contain already some little amplifier.

Be shure to use 5 volts with those or use the speaker only without the preamp circuit.

There's something wrong - the audio just should be quieter if it's a larger speaker.

    have fun
