  • IDX Pro VDI connection points for other detector models

    hello

some days before i tested the idx pro vdi at my igsl musketeer
something that i want to do since a long time
results are really nice it makes fun to swing that thing

the next what come to my mind was to use this as backup modul
for tesoro cibola and compadre so why not try

i think at compadre i could find the right points but cibola is an other thing

the next will be other models
    my old gc1023

so if anyone has tested vdi at other machines why not collect some connection points here

    write your detector model
    name the connection points
X / name of ic and place on pcb / pin number
y / name of ic and place on pcb / pin number

    regards

    Hi bernte_one,

let's start to contribute to this thread with an entry for the Deeptech Vista Mini (German Edition):

    Connections:

Vcc (+12 V): thick brown cable
    Gnd: thick blue cable
X: IC=AD8664 (looking at the component side it's the topmost on the left, just left of those four 47n capacitors), Pin 14
    Y: same IC, Pin 8

    Characteristics (value unit is V):

    Mode X Y
    No Object, Disc = Min 4.1 - 4.3 4.3 - 4.5
    No Object, Disc = Max 4.1 - 4.3 4.7 - 4.8
    .50 BMG shell (distance ~ 1 cm) ~ 3.0 ~ 2.0
    Range 0.4 - 5.0* 0.4 - 5.0*
    Range for smaller objects up to BMG 3.0 - 4.5 2.5 - 5.0
Voltage change for non-ferrous objects drops drops
Voltage change for ferrous objects drops rises
*May exceed 5.0 if object is very large and distance very small
    Greetings and happy hunting!

        Hello bernte_one,
Can you explain something about connections between ISGL and VDI you write above?
I am interested to add one VDI to my IGSL Musketeer, with a little display that will show only two big digit. My idea is to use the Nokia display of a 5110 mobile phone.
