    i ges i will build the two of them starting with the PI .

    witch is the beter PI MD
    surf 1.2 or baracuda? and witch coils to go with tham?

    (my fingers are holding the visa and vibrating with Excitement)

          the link you give is NOT making the coil for PI, but for VLF IB detector. be more accurate in the matter.

            Please get a copy of this book ->

            Then you will have a better understanding of metal detector design, and a good chance of putting something together that works.

                      The Surf Pi design is not described in the book, but the basic principles are explained in the PI chapters.
