Hi Folks
This is a great forum. Lots of good information. I have finally decided to build myself a detector. I have been using a metal detector for years, ( a White's Goldmaster 66TR D,, with the 4B coil. I sawed open the coil and was supprised to find that it was not shielded, and that the transmit coil has 2 taps and the receive coil 1 tap and a little RC network inside the coil as well. I was wondering if anyone had any information about this configuration?
