    Hi Carl, first request the old chip to be sent to you, then send the replacement if you go down this path....or else i also want one for my non existant TDI.hehehe.....or else you will also get flooded with bogus emails, guaranteed.

    Ohhhhhh, I just thought about something else that could go wrong this way. I can just send you a blank non coded chip and receive a fully functional coded one. Can i email you also for one....only joking. Just letting you know the difficulties in proceeding the way as suggested by yourself.

    Good luck in fixing Alexp's detector.
