xp adx 250 pictures needed

hi guys i am looking at a mates xp adx250 for him the story is it was dropped and inside there is a plastic sheild that has two legs attached by molten plastic to the main pcb
this has broken off when it was dropped since then the machine is constantly falsing even without movement .
i told him to drop it off so i could have a look , when i have looked at it there is a very very fine silver wire again melted into the plastic on this sheild and looks like it may off attached to the main pcb i would assume its a emi or emf sheild of some sort like the screening on a t2 or is this the antenna for the wireless headphones , i cannot see where on the main pcb this was attached to as it has broken off clean any help would be appreciated i do not think this is the problem with the falsing but just want to check with the experts first thanks in advance guys .

thanks for replying skippy your a star showed the wire in question and i was correct at where it should go sadly bloody thing is still falsing , oh well back to the drawing board looks like i may have to buy some more test equipment and learn some moe about electronics still at least i have the book inside the metal detector to help thanks for your help.
