I was trying to contact user Homefire (because I saw he answered a few technical questions here) but for some reason (maybe because I just joined) I was unable to send him a PM.
If anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I would very much apprecaite it!
I have a Garrett American S1 that was given to me as part of payment for fixing a guys TV. He said it didn't work and didn't know why but I don't have one so I took it and was hoping I could fix it and use it.
I opened it and found the "5" wires coming from the coil disconneted from the "4" port male connector that goes to a "4" port female connector on the board.
I didn't see anywhere on the housing nor on the board to connect the extra wire (assuming ground). I have attached low res pictures if that might help. The five wire colors from the coil are: green, white, red, black and no color just bare metal (looks like from the sheathing). The board didn't give me any hints.
There is another 4 port connector on the board but only has 4 wires and all 4 seem to be connected to the sound and audio.
Thank you for any help or expert guidance you might be able to provide!!
