Hello. I've heard very good about the MD Saxon X-1, good stability, good depth for coins ...


Does anyone knows in depth?
Is there any forum project that equal or better?

I bet there are not that many of those detectors around !, hand built £1700 new £500-£800 second hand, depending on condition (source uk metal detecting forum).
If i understand correctly versions of this are still made, so building your own is unlikely.
There the kind of machine that fans rave over and would never sell but non users are largely unaware of (a bit like my Adams ax777).
