  • Blisstool Production LIne......

As there has been discussion regarding the Blisstool, and we are a technology oriented group (well, some are), I thought you might find this presentation of interest. Quite an impressive production line. Should be of interest regardless what are your opinions on the metal detectors. No sound, but demonstrates the level of technology that goes into each machine.

This is everything but “high tech”, more like garage grade production based on cheap labor. Manual component preparation, placement, reflow soldering, (later, PCB final check and commissioning, final unit assembling... not shown on video). Relatively few people is needed to run this kind of operation, but not bad for something that is not exactly mass-produced, like MD's. I assembled car alarms this way, around 20years ago.

I thought that too, other then the title for the video says:
"How are made BLISSTOOL metal detectors in the BLISSTOOL factory in Bulgaria."

Which is a little misleading, even if the detectors are made there.

It implies, " we sold a couple hundred shady detectors world-wide so we invested a few million on some gear to put them together".

I agree looks like they are an assembly facility located in Bulgaria, so they could be contracted to build them, although I don't think it's necessary, but what do I know.

Nothing a quick email or phone call would not clear up.

Really, does it matter if a robot or a person mounted the part on a through-hole PCB at the end of the day? Seems like hyperbole.

Heck I could probably keep up with Blisstool production using my 30w soldering iron in my basement. Could probably do over a hundred PCBs a week lol.

slomobi, ya slob, just because a company creates a video advertising their equipment, does not equate to every video exampling use of that machine is a fake. A-holes like you have nothing better in life than to slander and criticize what you have failed in life to accomplish.

I dont understand who is lying to who?
no 1 romtech-3 is a real electronics factory in bulgaria (some uk sky routers are/were made there).
no 2 the first video clearly shows blisstool boards being produced.
no 3 for the record i am in no way connected to blisstool or romtech-3, in fact i dislike the blisstool with a passion (it has far too many knobs and adjustments, its way too heavy, its over priced for what it is, and mainly its 20 year old technology.
when it came here to the uk i was told "were after the xp deus hobby market!" and yet people still pay double the blisstool price for xp why is that? 'cos its crap compared to deus even at half the price, but its one of those detectors that brings the worst out in people.
but calling it fake or trying to belittle every thing blisstool does is sad, but then i have no time for the gangsta attitudes of bulgairian garage detector designers in general.

Strange that test after test, independent (will list if you wish), show the Blisstool holding its own against anything on the market. Even giving the ML ctx 3030 (did I hear it has sprung some leaks?) and Deus machines a run for their money and beating them on depth. But I have no interest in comparisons. For sake of full disclosure, I use the Bliss and find it an excellent machine. Not good for all sites, but an excellent relic hunter and for beach work. BTW, I find heavy users of "smileys" rather juvenile.

                        .
Anything on the market? Did you test it against Nokta Velox One? Show me those independent test.

But detector with 13 controls? Did you notify it to Guinness? It should be very competitive for weirdest construction record.

Yesterday I found a very rare small coin at 30cm with my Blisstool
at a region where the new Garrett Euro Ace only would have detected it at 13cm
because of the extremly high electrosmog.
Of course the Blisstool is still much too anti-immune against e-smog.

But I recognized that the coil-plastic is a problem.
If you bend it only 0,2mm it will cause already a signal at highest sensitivity.

The used coil-plastic breaks too fast and it is not hard enough.
And afaik Blisstool doesn't offer coil protection covers.

The coil stem connectors also should be designed different.

The many buttons or potis are important and needed for real good manual adjustment -
absolutly no problem to handle them.
And as one of the very few still produced detectors which offer this capability
the Blisstool will detect really good also special mineralic stuff like meteorites by double beep!

It works even very good while heavy rain-showers.
And the internal lipo accus after almost 3 years are still good.

We have a large Blisstool thread already here in this forum for more detailed information.

Pretty hard to be civil Carl, when there are those who have no problem lying through their teeth.
