    This is an interesting DIY project, but the bandwidth is an extremely low 2kHz, and is therefore unsuitable for use in metal detector design. You will need 10MHz bandwidth at the very least.

      Too bad I had not seen the bandwitch to 2Khz,for fun it can go.

        For MD we need 10Mhz of sampling bandwitch or analog bandwitch, i think 10Mhz sampling.

          At least 10MHz analog bandwidth. The sampling rate only applies to a digital oscilloscope.
