    hi all,
    what do you think about this metal detector ?
    perhaps for pin pointing, i ve done it but can t have any detection whit coil?
    some one have an idea

                only problem is the microcontroller
                no source here
                best choice seems to be ebay from china
                the code i had already from you i think

                coil with 10microH cant be right? the origianl use a pcb coil from what i see maybe only some couples of windings with very thin copper tracks

                  hi berntfind my micro at conrad or selectronic in france (best price selectronic) perhaps reichelt for you (saw good prices).
                  for coil haven t done it with pcb (haven t got any more), done it with ferrite rod and air core .
                  if you do it tell me if its good or not.

                            if i look into code it seems like bfo or so

                            if think anothe coil and better caps at tx can make some changes
                            but not the big hit

                            this unit isn´t a pi detector

                            at moment i dont make thoughts about the working principle
                            just happy it works
