After we got the errata list up to date , and building the second prototype I can now say that this detector is pretty good . It is not the latest in technology but hey!!! Stay as close to the tollerances given as possible . You do not need 1% resistors , but I would not go higher than 2% . Where possible combine resistors in series to get the right value . I did so because I wanted to stay as close to the original as possible to get a test model which was representative of the schematic in the book . Try it it works . Kees

This unit can baptize us how you ,but this equipment is actually sniffer that I opened some of the nineties and which was marked as xr7 sniffer and after a few years ago was added noise and sounds, and it has emerged sniferxr71. greeting.
