Here's what I've been working on......
A metal detector sheild board for the chipkit uno 32
the chipkit computer board plugs into the bottom of the metal detector "shield board", so with the headers exposed on top, i'll be able to have a display / control board which will mount on top.
the metal detector circuits are based on the QED ideas, which i figured would be a good place to start, Also i included on the board are the following:
a 16 bit differential ADC, idea being it'll help me understand and visualize the balanceing of the ground response vs. the target response.
a 14 bit DAC converter, it feed's the voltage to frequency chip for audio output.
Li-po battery charger
3 axis digitial accelerometer (just for fun ,maybe)
digitial barometer (just for fun)
bluetooth interface
Right now, I'm working on the code to test out all the circuits, the oranqe wire feeds the output of the DAC converter to the ADC, which is working
, the TX drive, Snub drive, seem to be working too.
