Can Any one help me check my lay is correct or not

the 2N3055 I think is a TO3 package, the diode is not positioned in the right place, if seve to protect the 7812, while it is fair if the output should be 12.5V.
For a correct sizing should know the output current.

If this board is a 12v power supply to give 12v for the IDX - then you do not require the 2n3055 or the diode.

The IDX takes less than 100mA so the 1Amp 7812 is ok on its own.

ask yourself do I need a supply capable of 15AMPs - the answer is of course NO.


Im trying to save you component count and cost and size.
