Hello, having a problem with switch over from vlf to tr, should only be momentarily but my unit takes about 5 or more seconds to stabilize.
in other words I have to hold the switch in either direction until it re tunes for about 5 secs.?
I have been working on this machine for some time. I have socketed all IC's, replaced all electro caps, and replace components on the stand off
tuner board.
I have no more hair to pull out!
BTW my tuner board has a CA3130T, not theCA3160 as seen on the reversed engineered pdf.
Also this tuner board is wired differently than the posted schematic (the inputs are reversed..non invert ,invert)
Any help before I go BALD....!
