  • Which Silverdog PI kit to buy?

Hello guys. Looking for advice. Which of those kits would be better for deep WWII relics i.e. helmet, canteen etc.? What could be nice to have aside from depth is discrimination of smaller metal objects (don't want to dig every bullet shell) if possible. So, which one could suit that purpose better? Thanks in advance.

    hello greg
for ww2 it would be better if you try to find a stronger md with higher pulsepower
with the baracuda kit from silverdog you should find ww2 artifacts
you can use a wide range of coils
but remind that helmets and empty shooted tank grenade shells lay down 1,2m+

    regards

Baracuda is good for deep - but you have no discrimination with PI-Kits...

Yes, I'm thinking about depths like you mentioned bernte_one (what coil size should be suitable then?). I know there is no disc in pi for ferrous and non ferrous metals. But can smaller objects be 'discriminated' by using bigger coil i.e. 40-50 cm diameter? Any experience with that? I saw some youtube video with 'discrimination' of small objects in pi detector, so I thought that maybe one of those kits has such possibility.

Thanks 6666. I like audio tone and response in Baracuda, just like vlf. Sniffer is like double the price, I don't think it will go twice as deep as Baracuda? bernte_one, I saw some of your videos on youtube. What coil size you could recommend for deep objects, have you tried wwII relics with your Baracuda?
