  • schematic with hidden jpgs

    I want to take a regular schematic and add coloured dots for test points - - when you mouse on the dot / test point Id like a jpg of the scope trace to appear like a cartoon bubble. Is this possible with powerpoint perhaps of some freeware... S

      Yes, it's possible, but you need to know how to write Java Script.

      Here's a simple example.
      Decompress the zip file, open the folder, and double-click on index.htm
      When it opens in a browser, move the mouse over TP1.

          The post refers to a DOC file that contains hyperlinks to the images. But where is the DOC file?

            Hi George that is exactly what I wanted to do - I just need to get a java environment and some learning and Ill try putting some IDX traces out on a schematic.. It will be embarrassingly slow though.. S

              Im off first base. I cant upload my zip as its 2.3Mbyte so all this may not be possible anyway........ How do I add more scope traces? S

                  Oops, I think the doc file for my example above was in Fisher 1266 part 1;
