  • a question or two for Mr Carl Moreland (welcome input from anyone really)

Hi Mr Moreland Sir I wonder if you may have time to answer a few questions sir as your an insider so to speak having worked for Whites Metal detectors no matter how fancy the electronics and coil we are still basically waving a stick with emf fields.

akin to trying to hear a whisper at a rock concert forget where I read that but It was a good read non the less I digress my point is if metal detectors had mass appeal so to speak would the rate of development been quicker and perhaps much more advanced.

Or is it metal detector companies have reached a peak with the current technological platform it just seems to me machines have tended to just be more of the same but with bells and whistles ie gps etc.

which is the best platform analogue or digital in terms of pure depth power.

what are the advantages of each please.

the emf fields is it possible to contain the field within a secondary magnetic field and accelerate it ?

can artificial intelligence algorithms be implemented on a pic chip for mainly pi metal detectors.

    thank you sir in advance.

Yes, the speed of new development is limited by the size of the market. Raw depth can be achieved with analog or digital; digital offers more capabilities in target ID and flexibility, also generally cheaper. Accelerate the field? Not that I can imagine. Not sure what you would do with AI.
