That should be fine. Just add a couple of probes and your all set!

      Thanks Silver Dollar,

I should have it by weekend or early next week, guy is out of town at the moment...I thought it sounded like a decent deal
      for 50 bucks..

Already downloaded some info/pdf's another member posted in another thread here on xyz's of scopes, introduction to scope,
scope pocket guide and basic feature stuff.

I seriously cant wait to get it and start learning how to use it...

dont read those loony threads on the net about making your own probes, its not worth it they are cheap enough to buy these days, just get the highest mhz your pocket will stand 30 or 40 mhz will be fine, 20mhz will work but its better to have that extra bw.
besides most good 20mhz scopes like that have mods that will boost it, the scope i have (hameg) can be modded to 50mhz, though i have not done it personally, my tutor allways said to us that tinkering with test equipment was a fools errand.

Yep I have a 20mhz Hameg and it does everything I need. Sixty quid from EBay and I love the old thing :-)
