Thanks coininator, post here when your done on land with your results if you would.
    I am curious.
I am trying to decide if this circuit would work like a Minelab PI on inland searching.
    Way cheaper if it does.
And if you could post your depth.
    Appreciate it.

Will have to put some hours on it before I really know how good it is. I don't think it will be as good as a Minelab inland. Guess it will depend on the kind of hunting you plan on doing and the conditions. For gold nuggets I would want the Minelab. For inland I would want something with some discrimination for my area as where I hunt there is a lot of trash. If you dont mind digging everything I am sure it will work fine for coins. Others on here with more experience using the Surf PI inland can tell you more about its performance but I will be happy to let ya know what I think.

I was thinking about inland for nugget hunting only.
Just wondering how deep these home made MD go.

Maybe someone who has tried the surf or other homebrews on here will chime in. I wish I was in an area that had nuggets to hunt but unfortunately I am not. Search nugget hunting there is quite a bit of information related to that in here.
