just 'happened'. Been three days now and still in trouble so an opinon would be great.
If I power on in DISC mode I get the bty beep and then silence (ok).
I then switch to METAL mode and adj GBAL.
If I power on in METAL mode the bty beep is very long (I modded it to be short)
I cannot get GBAL anymore. The Threshold pot has no effect and I use GB as a threshold.
Scope shows GB working fine. (I used scope pics from TGSL project which is much the same and get indentical results)
Signal after first amp is 100mV ie 5mV NULL (always used to be fine)
DISC level has an effect on the GB/Thresh.
REF my circuit values:
Power on in DISC mode, v across C35 goes high, then drops neg then settles.
Power on in METAL mode, v across C35 goes high, stays high BUT RETUNE 'clears it'
I am going round in circles guys. No wires off etc, about to buzz the whole board - again.
One clue is it seems to be to do with IC10A and the feedback but all comps are ok.
Until this happened I would power on in metal mode, short beep, set GB no problem and everything was perfect.
