  • 4metal concept management

    get on the mailing list for the 4metal news letter
    some memebers already recieved

    added features are
    second set of s& hold from a known pi constant 1uF without transisitors and bucket
    caps and res
    and lots more planed features at not much expense panto grapgic type displays using simulatanious node stretch
    dsp outs ... avalible for resample and fast fft sampling

    go on give some help and some time
    ask for a task.... if you get proteus or want too design a front panel or think a compatition for front panel design should be run etc etc lets know

    so...

    i created a schedule once per day i will update an sfx archive

      Re: 4metal concept management

      i will happily post a schematics .dsn file to anyone
      but the fact is the schematic isnt just a simple gif

      using 4 coils can be complex so...
      the design comes in 8 sheets in total {so far} the links in other posts work fine
      as long as first proteus lite version is downloaded and installed {you dont need to register it to view the .dsn file or any design just to save if you want too....
      {very cheep anyway less than the cost of lunch}

      i hope you like 4metal when you get too see it

      i am looking for helpers to handle any part of the design process {takes the weight off me} inc codeing

      {the pwm unit is half done and the controls section is done appart from too actualy move all the controls into one sheet {ill do this}

      pcb i will ask someone i know who has the pro version to route up the pwm s&h board and the radar {scope} board to pcb's so users can build them

      also would others look at the fet drivers section sheet and see the pwm drivers schematics i made for drivers and front end for invertion coils {dual coils centertap use two fets too drive twice the power and directional}

      i want to try to incorperate a new front end and switching into the desing using germanium instead of silicon diodes and a pair of transistors as a fast switch buffer to fully protect the shunt rectifer diodes and the fet front end
      i also included blanking ..... supplied by the switching fets this again will dead'n the dc path to the opamp
      so higher gains of op can be used safely without overloading the amp causing clipping and spurious results.......

      The front end has fet's to give some gain {i am not convinced by my placements some varification of accuricy of schematic would be welcomed }
