BF245 Pinouts?

I was trying to put my TGSL back together and looked for the pinout to the BF245's.
Mine are probably Chinese and say F245A on them. This datasheet shows 2 different
pinouts with the gate in the center or on pin 1. How do I tell which way mine are pinned
out?



OOPs nevermind I just noticed the top is 244 and bottom is 245....

Measure with multimeter on diode test (or on 2K range on some types), from G to S, in one direction will be normal diode voltage drop, in another infinity, from D to S some few hundred Ohms or less in any drection. Never mind if you reverse D and S, devices are quite symmetrical. Be aware of remarked Chinese components.
