Are you sure that those cans are of same alloy everywhere (same conductivity)?

To the Geotech Forum. (Inxlusief admin)
If there are more people interested than geoscash1 and WM6 to see a short
demonstration video of Detecting hypodermic needle using elliptical 11" coil with a IB VLF detector.
Than I am willing to make that video.
Let me know.
regards Nupi

And on video, please, show first detailed how needles stick plastic ruler (please use transparent one!) and then how test perform.

These are the test samples for the MD test.
The used metal detector that I used for the test is, by myself, modified DeepTech Smart (IB) detector with aelliptical 11" frequency is 15-Khz I thought
I want to report some statements that some of us have said.
"Detecting small hypodermic needle using 11" coil with IB VLF detector (no matter of brand), we could really call a miracle.
Sorry, but I don't believe in such "miracle".
"A hypodermic needle could not be detected by a PI even when Eric Foster tried it with a 1us sample delay. The shape of the needle,
with its tiny cross-section, is unable to sustain eddy currents for long enough to be detectable. I would suggest that the only hope
of detecting these items is with a VLF running at a relatively high frequency...................."
"pi detectors with coil than 6 inches and inductance than 240mh - 300mh and sampling that 6us -21 us frequencies 1khz,
successfully can detected hypodermic micro"
Maybe these are already some discussion points.
The video comes tonight.

Thanks for good presentation of testing samples, nupi.
Blood pricker / insulin needles are out of my interest, but OK, if you chose: more - better.
My primary interest is testing chosen hypodermic needle:

Brown
26Gx1/2”
0.45 x 12 mm

I want to apologize for the poor quality of the video.
I thought my camera was broken but that is not so,
because the quality of the video from the borrowed camera is just bad.
The problem lies on my Laptop. When transferring the video from the camera's to the Laptop
becomes blurry and of poor quality.
Does anyone have any idea what it could be?
I hope you can see well enough.
