WaterProof Potentiometers Idea
Hi, like much of us. I want to try my metal detector on the beach but not on the sand, in the water where chains, rings an other stuff are more easy to losse. But another problem is that you cant adjust the potentiometers because they aren't water proof and water proof potentiometers are expensives $60 or more. So After thinking and thinking I came up with this idea. I will post the photos so you can get what Im talking about. Before sold the cables to the potentiometer and when you inserted inside the glove use some epoxy to complete sealed frome the water. Hope to have any coments and another ideas.

Why not just get some small RV6 sealed pots, Ebay, surplus for $3-5 each and use a APM Hex seal about another $3.00.
Do it right the first time, you won't have to worry about leakage.
