  • surf pi mosfet replacement

    Can I replace IRF740 with IRF610 for surf pi detector ?
    I don't know how much volts and amps is needed for detector to work.

          No, I get that part, but I was sure all versions of surf ran on P-channel devices.

            Surf PI uses a P-Channel Mosfet, N-Channel Mosfets won't work.

            If you want to play with N-Channel Mosfets, you would be better of building a HH or Minipulse.

                Oops, yep, brain wasn't fully engaged on that one. You need a PMOS.
