  • Android Metal-Detector Collection

Enjoy the collection, this is freeware for android smartphones.

The most sensitive one is the Metal Sniffer Metal Detector, if your smartphone's magnetometer-sensor
is sensitive enough you will recognize even changes of 0,1 uTesla !!!

Important infos to use the apps:
You can attach the smartphone on some pole and must walk straight forward, smartphone close to the ground
or you can hold it fixed into one direction and move it over walls etc.

It will detect just ferrous metal objects, magnets or very strong disturbances.
Its better to try out the apps not directly in front of the monitor or other electronic devices.
You will get much more sensitivity if you are outside in the field or woods.

Large iron objects are detectable up to 17-35cm (1/2 to 1 foot) deep.
Smaller stuff like a knife is detectable from 10 cm (4 inch).

Because this forum has a very tiny 1MB upload limit for zip files, I have uped the 4,2MBs here:

    http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/P...tion.zip_links
    short link:

If someone could pls makes an excuse and ups it here, the risk of deletion would be much less!
However, I'm for shure not being motivated to create 5 joinable splitfiles out of such a little file,
each below 1MB, this is ridiculous.

Usually you have to pay for real performances. Free applications are there only to tease you.
In case of Android, free applications usually are carrying also bedlam of ads which will slow down your device very fast!
There are also much similar applications for iOS (iPhones and iPads).
I have iPhone 3G, iPad3 and HTC ONE S, Asus TF700T at home here. iOS and Android devices.
Have tested such applications parallel on all devices.
Some are more sensible than others.
All the time i tried to find more detailed data on sensors which are embedded in those.
Simply because all the performances are directly dependent on sensors.
So far i see no useful performances for our hobby. Best you can expect from such is to serve as ordinary stud finder.
But... more better idea is to design "gadget" which will communicate through BT with such smart phone.
In worse scenario BT may be omitted and ordinary cable connection may be used.
Such devices usually do have very sensitive microphone input and HQ audio outputs.
Proper HQ cable may ensure very good connection with such gadget.
Software will generate TX signal and further precisely process RX signal.
It is obvious that XP Deus lookalike configuration is most desirable to be achieved with smart phone design.
