  • Compass Scanner XP Pro

    Hi there,
I have got hold of what it looks like a new control box for a Scanner XP Pro and also the full frame but no coil. With the 3 batteries inserted there is meter indication but no sound and have noticed that one lead on the underside of the lower pcb has detached itself (looks like an added resistor has been added on) and haven't got a clue where it is supposed to connect to. Can anyone through a light as to where on the board is this wire supposed to go to? Also, has anyone any idea where I could get an 8" coil (new or otherwise) for this model?
    Many thanks.

Thanks KT. I don't seem to be able to suss this out. I can see that on the components side of the compass_1 jpg, at the bottom, middle of the pcb, there are three resistors between LF442 and the middle pot. On my board, the middle 470 ohm resistor has a 15k resistor soldered on the underside between one end and the centre pin of the pot. The detached cable I need to connect goes from the soldered end to??????.
By the way, attachments 31801 to 31805 above do not work.
