sure Carl told onetime - The White's 6B coils are really easy to find, and come in a huge range of sizes.
    his words. not mine.

maybe I wrong. let anybody judge. anyway no full data on D4 D5 B4 B6 coils. I did open XLT rainbow coil and gave full pic. it is all. any thread on similar matter I noticed has ended without a visual success from a side of topwriter.

So, what does that mean? White's loop guide says 6B 8", doesn't even mention D4 and D5. I would try and build a 6B and see if it works. As for the photos, sorry, it was already dark outside when I took the photos. I'll see if I could get better ones tomorrow.

In your opinion, is it worth it to try and build a coil for this old machine? I guess the performance won't be much, but I would like to give it a shot.

I am guessing D4 and 5D original supply and 6B replacement

I have the 6000D and is an excellent detector more than capable of keeping up with modern detectors. Only thing is the weight. Have thought of bringing it out of retirement and using it hip mounted. Does like a fast swing to discriminate properly which is not easy when it weighs a ton. Hip mounting would also mean you could but it under you coat to detect in the rain

I could never keep all the old White's loops straight, it is my recollection that the 6DB used a different loop that the later 6000 models and they are not compatible. I no longer have a 6DB. If you want to know for sure, contact Todd ([email protected]) in the Service Dept, he knows. Then post the info back here. He probably won't know if the RX coil was tuned or not, I think they were. Yes, it affects RX phase and disc.
