Simple Russian PI detector Pirat

1 meg for my circuit? I saw that other ones using 100k plus 10k.
Yes i need to use used 1 Watt resistors because i have only 1/4 Watt in every size.

I tried to use 4 of them together to reach 1 watt but this doesnt seem to work.

I think i will wait till my russian ic arrives and i will make the radioskot version with the 220 ohm resistor and one pot.

Im still not sure if its good enough for a poinpointer. I have tried my cable finder tool as pinpointer today and its totally crap, i want something
stronger.

Nothing arrived until now. But i got a copper clad board, and i made my first self etched PCB.
It is the version from Hammerhead. Has somebody a schematic from it? its the NE555 +L072 one , small layout.

I have the problem that i have only one 220 ohm resistor and it seems that i can not use it with this layout but im not sure.
Almost any Pirat version use this 220 ohm resistor but not this.

22o Ohm is damping resistor. You should be fine with it. It should be matched to your coil. Optimum could be more or less. They just plugged that in as a Starting point .. Ball Park.

I dont know how to print the pictures in the original size. I have all parts from this layout , its just a bit bigger.
Or is it the same as the other ones?

Open this i and it will come out to size.

Do you mean that i should save the file at my Desktop and then right click and print?

Do you have another layout with the same parts which is smaller like the other ones?

I think what is going on is you have your print set to fill page. Put setting to Print as is. The PCB will come out the correct size.

I found a layout from simple pi, looks like it is the same.
Need a .lay file if possible. I will try it tomorrow.

The last two videos are mine too.
Very poor operation.
I find that without original k157ya2, it does not work......
It follows files, including PROTEUS ARES if one wants to modify.

LOL, Drill it and Solder from the top. Ugly but works.

Well some thing else is wrong then. Nothing wrong with using the o71 or o72. These are about as simple of a PI circuit as you can get. Not even a Delay line other then one cap.
