  • My K157ud2 will arrive the next days, i can tell you later if i need a board from you or not.
How much is it with shipping to Germany?
Do you have some parts for the baracuda too?

Peace be upon you BkI337 The copy is excellent and works excellently I wish you success

      • Thx. I made exactly the same layout, but ive used 68 ohm resistors instead of 62 ohm, 12 ohm instead of 10 ohm and different transistors. Everything else looks similiar.
The Op amp still has not arrived.

There is no problem in the resistors, but I wonder in Germany, there are no resistors with specific values, you can get the pieces from the old circles. I do that in Egypt.

          • I can get every value here in Germany, i just dont have it at home.

I think i can connect the pins from my TL082 to the holes from the 14 Pin connector, but i can not find a datasheet in english for the pinout of K157UD2.

              • What do you mean with not pin compatible?

I planned to connect the pins from the TL082 to the pin numbers of K157UD2 like this:

                Do you think this works?

                • Pinout does not match. That's all I said. You have to build a Adapter or point to point. Are you changing the Board? There are at least 6 working versions of this thing. Just pick one you have the parts for. I'm going with this one. I have all the Parts, PCB makings and just need a trip to the library to photo copy to transfer.Click image for larger version

                  • Yes i mean an adapter, point to point. I dont want to make another board , because mine is already built.
Took me 2 hours to drill the holes by hand, lol. I did nothing else with the board, its the K157UD + NE555 Version, 100k pot + 10k pot.

                    • I forgot to flip the PCB to print and used them. LOL Solder top side.

                      • My Russian is working. But i still need to make a 330uH coil. I just used mine from the easytreasure BFO 12-15 Turns 15cm.
Depht is like in the Videos. But only 2 cm with a coin with small ferrite rod coil.

                        • Something got damaged in my circuit , because i changed + and - , the circuit pulled 2-3 Ampere (9V) and something smelled burned, the IRF740 was hot, but i think its not damaged,
because i de soldered it and tested it in my transistor tester and i got the same result as with a good one.

Do somebody know what could be damaged?

I had about 12-13 cm with a 1 Euro coin and 15cm coil.

                          • Can you upload a picture of the pcb?

It is exacly the same as Hammerheads last picture. 220 ohm is 1 watt 390 ohm is 0,5 watt. Everything else is 1/4 Watt.
                              Transistors are BC558 and BC548 (C558B and C548B)
I dont know what gets damaged first, because im new to electronics.

The capacitor at the right side (polyester foil) is a green one and i dont know how much volt. But it worked before and it wasnt more than 9 Volt.

                              • I think it could be one of the electrolytic capacitors. Maybe the 2200uF.
I hope its not the K157ud2 or the NE555.
