Are these kits similar to the Orion MX 9005 for sale in Turkey (or are they Chinese)? For that matter, any information on the Turkish Mx 9005i Very little info on the net, other than sales offers. Neat looking machine, if it works as described.

you can by diy kits from pulsdetektor.biz
but you will not find Infos for complete diy by your own, and second i think they will not deliver to the near east at the Moment
if you live in europe your chances are better
in next year 2015 i will start a pulse wich can reach up to 8m in ground, with high rated pulsefreq.
and a backpack of batteries
just to show it is possible but still nonsense because you need somebody to dig the holesComment
