I recently purchased a second-hand control-box (just the box!)from a metal detector manufactured by Pulse Technology, Abingdon.
The serial number on the box is: 9004027-335 and it seems to be a PI metaldetector.
Features: On/Off knob (audio) / Reject knob (min, foil, pul tabs, max), jack for phones & charge, BNC adaptor on the back. It's a solid grex plastic housing (13.25 x 12.90 x 5,70 cm) with a clip for fixing on a belt.
Before I start experimenting, at the risk to fry something, can anyone give me the following information:
- Which voltage does the machine need?
- Are there usermanuals (eventually copies) available?
- Which coils fit to the box? If no coils aren't availble anymore, could anyone transmit me some techical specs? I.e. number of coil windings, diametre of wire, general values that the coil has to show, eventual values of capacitors to adjust the coil, ...
Any information will be the highest welcome.
Any charges that might occur (copies, manuals, ...) will be of course at my cost.
Thanks in advance
Paul
