I want to build a detector that would be able to reject small things and would show only big items like metal pipe (approximately 10cm in diameter and 40cm long) up to 1 meter deep. In my situation my detector is useless because i have quite big are to search and it is full of nails. Which detector would you suggest me to build?

You can do this with a pulse induction detector. Simply increase the sample delay so that it ignores small targets.

You can attach a large coil frame to the Minipulse Plus, but you will probably need to increase the TX pulse width (by simply changing one or two component values), and swap over C15 and R29 to disable the SAT.
