in very general lines. try to forum list here below, there was very good sketches of planar coils.
a discription of coil tuning is at Ivan Kostin' web-pages, but it's in Russian.

yes, I see the mistake. there is also one -replace a collector with an emitter of Q2 in oscillator.

Hi Folks;
Just for those of us who aren't very knowlegeable about these things, could you tell us a little more? It LOOKS screwy to me, but I don't know how one would correct this... does anyone have a corrected schematic they could post?
