Litz Wire 330/46 Coil AWG46 X 330 Strands

Anyone know if this would be good for MD coils? If so, how would I estimate lengths for: 7", 9" & 11" coils?

Are you asking for PI coils?

330 strands of Litz wire is more than enough for most PI coils.

You can use this pdf to find the equivalent AWG of the litz wire.

To calculate the length. Each turn equals Coil Diamter X 3.14.

Example: a 10in coil using 22 turns => 10in x 3.14 x 22t = 690 inches or about 58 feet
