Well the SL came yesterday, man what a huge coil, but fairly well balanced. Took it to my test garden (in ground for over 7 years), found out pretty quick, one setting wrong and you can be in trouble and not even know it. The SL ground balanced at between 7-8, very quiet smooth threshold, gain at 6.
Second thing, I really need to work on forgetting all the VLF machines I've used over the years or disappointment will set in. The response time is a lot slower, I'll need to swing slower and overlap maybe 50% to get a response on the deep coins. Any advise you can give will be very encouraging and helpful. Thanks in advance.
