Minipuls 3

Hi,
Im wondering if there's anyone at this forum that's sucessfully has built the Minipuls - 3 (from www.pulsdetektor.de)? If so, can you give me any input of your experiences, depth capacity, discrimination etc? It seems to be a very intresting design! Unfortunately all text is in german!
I've newly sucessfully completed and tested two of Trevor Hills GoldPic 3, but would like to try a more complicated design, with a higher (and variable)output, variable frequency etc.

Hi, I do not see there a free programming data.
The project is commercial?

go to software, there you will find a file, minipuls-3.zip containing the software.

Information on how to program the AT90S4433 can be found at: http://www.xs4all.nl/~sbolt/e-spider_prog.html

Are you familiar with this processor?

PonyProg (http://www.lancos.com/prog.html) seems to be the best free programming tool for AVRs.

Hi I`m from VArNA BULGARIA!! Yes, MINIPULS 3 is a working project.I have made the PI and on the pcb there is only 1 mistake arround the 7805.Also 7660 is connected iteresting, but only hold about 2ma /If you are using this design, the two OP have to take no more than 3 mA/ - for example TL062 - 0.5 mA OK but LM318/the best for first OP/ take 10 mA !!!.You have to put exactly the same P-mos /very difficult to find it/.The programer for AVR is the easyest part, PONYPROG is the best and easy to make.The PI is WORKING FINE but no adjustmens and with P-mosfet technology is easy to manage the power suplly but no high voltage-current transistors, high RDS-on 4ohms /1 ohm is normal for N-mosfet/ - conflicting with more Amp`s more sensitivity.I build this design with N-mos /2-3 times more Amp`s try the coil /1 ohm/ about 30 % more sensitivity. Have a nice soldering !
