VLF Coil Interchangeability

Hi guys,

I have a question regarding VLF metal detectors:

I already purchased a VLF metal with a 200mm concentric coil. Just wanted to know if it is possible to change the coil to a bigger size for deeper detection depth?

I have done some research and some websites suggest that you can change coils, but can you use any VLF coil interchangeably?

There is little compatibility amongst different brands of detectors, and sometimes even models. You'll need to get a coil specifically for the model detector you have.

Tell us what machine you have, then maybe someone here will have more specific advice about coil compatibility.

That's a Chinese model, probably no other coils available for it.
