Please tell and solve your problems to or with KTS personally, Orbit!
I really doubt this is bad quality or even not useable P.I. detectors.
This is a professional working company if you believe it or not.
btw. nonmotion detectors also need alot reset if the ground is problematic
and it also depends on the search speed and how good someone can
move the coil always exactly at the same distance over the ground.
And when I look to those guys how unprofessional they used the Lorenz at Oak-Island
I can imagine that alot other persons also have big problems or just bad results with P.I.
And tragac, now you hear again that using PI might not be that great as you may think.
Lorenz is very good detector I tried and Lorenz and Pulsar and Pulse Star 2 pro and Puls Star 2 for example Puls Star 2 is better of Puls Star 2 pro which has a copy of and on that basis I I worked Tomb Raider 2 Lorenz has some features more such as recording for me the best Lorenz and Pulse Star 2 older model no pro .But everyone has their own opinion and I respect that all the best .
best pulse detectors from Germany is Lorenz or Ebinger for professionel use
for midrange class and advanced Hobby detectorist KTS and TB
something exotic but most modern seem the new line from Pulsdetektor owner Diethelm Neyka (pulsdetektor.biz)
because I have strarted new tread with name about PI on this way probably can collect more opinions and answers .....
Which models from Ebinger ,you think it best for hoard searching and similar purposes from KTS probably you mean on PULS AR III and from TB on PULSE STAR II
do you know something for TB for previous model and new one pulse star II advantage/disadvantage....
Orbit, don't tell lies, because the truth is that I have not compared Lorenz with Pulsar or KTS
but the not good enough usage of some people and to what doubtful results they may come.
And there are alot people who "swear" on this or that P.I. detector, even some models from Bulgaria
or Greece. Just because this technology is so old and simple that even alot start to built their own ones -
this forum is full of such projects, too.
And tragac, you even can buy some easy to put together homebrew P.I. kits for just 20% of the usual price.
Connect the finished and working PCB with some battery, install everything in a housing and built your own coil
pretty simple and you're ready to go - or better to said to test how good P.I. works for you or not ....
If you wanna have the most expensive profi PI's of course you can spent 5000 bucks or more -
but I doubt you will do this as a rookie to this whole stuff.
Anyway, the whole PI discussion can continue for you from now on in the new opened thread.
Thanx for the link. As you can see from the tests: the devices from KTS are working very well.
The soil looks pretty loamy or mineralized, but the holes have alot air inside.
For real good tests after inserting the test object the hole should be filled up.
