Was wondering if it would be possible to use a VLF receiver outfitted with a small ferrite ant. for locating metal objects? I know VLF's are used for locating ore bodies with a large dipole you carry around (see Gisco sales),but if you had a 4" ferrite bar ant. I would think that you would have the resolution necessary.
