Hello Everyone,
I started this thread because I'm having trouble finding the cause why I lost a lot of sensitivity on my surf pi 1.2 kit from silverdog, after I replaced R25 - 15 K with 5k and delay pot of 100k with 10k. I saw some people do this mod to lower sample delay and that it works fine. I did reversed the mod at some point to check if it was the cause of the problem, and found that it was not the case, so I left it with the modification.
I did check all IC's , resistors, capacitors (and c9, c10, c11 seem to be 1.2 NF instead of 1 NF , but still it worked alright in this configuration before the mod) , did change IRF 9640, and 2n3906 , but in vain.
I have attached some oscilloscope readings: output of NE5534 , reading from pin 13 of 4093 , and also did a reading of pin 13 while I set the channel one trigger on pin 3 of TLC555.
I also have attached a reading of NE5534 before the mod and the coil seems to be much faster..than it is now..what can cause a slow coil? any particular component?
Could someone please tell me how fast my coils seems to be and also if possible from the readings what is the sample delay?
