    Signal processing technique, or simply - anything that can be detected using a transmitter and receiver, Minelab own the rights to. Works in Australia, should work in the US.

      They claim priority April 2013, I wonder what the priority document looks like.

        The Minelab patent application was filed on the 24th April 2014, and your post was on the 7th January 2015. So (unfortunately) they beat you to it.

          They beat me indeed, but these guys (see pages 19 and 50) had already disclosed that same technique in 2005.
          This patent is weak and should not have been granted.

            Geotech forum is not indexable be webarchive, which I heard has been used to resolve legal issues, every website owner can modify post dates so It will not be sufficient if the page is not cached by 3rd party such as webarchive.
