Probably would be new model MFD also MFT can be done to work like MFD wit small intervention on board and update of firmware

Its a new design or a upgrade of the MFT?
will be an firm upgrade MFT users to MFD ?

                  Hi,
I own a Signum MFT and i must say i really like it. Really sharp unit, i love the S mode check for trashy targets which will give you a loop on the hodograph...i was going to take an upgrade for the MFD which has the deep mode. I find the deep mode interesting because if you find a coin...lets say silver, the deep mode will help you scan the area for something deeper. Many will find a coin and then move on...but what if there is something deeper. So i find the deep mode a really good idea.
Anyways also what i like is that you have lots of settings to play with and a turbo mode.
There is a test made on the side of a Ctx3030 by DirtFisher which is a trusted US metal detector enthusiast as i understood from someone on a different forum.
                  video of the test https://youtu.be/R6Fda1XXsg8
i think you can tell the difference....
                  Best regards
                  M.

A friend has an AKA Signum, he is quite satisfied with it, but he complained to me that the detector simply "eats" batteries.
When I checked, depending on the operating mode; detector consumes from 150-280mA !!!
So I added this case for 3 higher capacity 18650 batteries in series, a switch, an LED and an LM317 regulator set to exactly 9V.
The LM317 has a heatsink, but after 20 minutes of operation the heatsink remains quite lukewarm.
I don't have time to get serious about this detector, I haven't even tested it outside the room.
It looks impressive in the room. Quite a nice detector and seems to me to have potential.
